The West Milford Bears Hockey Organization offers two, one time college scholarships to any senior member of the WestMilfordHighlandersHigh School Ice Hockey team that participated in the West Milford Bears Hockey Program. The scholarships are in the memory of Michael J. Smith, an original founder of the Bears Organization and Brian P. Parrello, a former member of the Bears Organization who gave his life in Iraq on January 1, 2005. Each Scholarship is worth $500.00. An application must be filled out and returned to the Scholarship Chairman. Applications will be mailed out to all eligible seniors. A committee of three (3) members will review the applications. The Chairman via mail will notify the winners and the awards will be presented at the West Milford High School Awards Ceremony. An applicant can apply for both scholarships.
